Clinical history:
A 49-year-old woman presented with a six-month history of a palpable right breast lump. Clinical examination confirmed a firm mass in the right breast. She underwent a mammography (Fig 1), ultrasound (Fig 2), ultrasound-guided biopsy and whole staging body 18F-FDG PET MRI (Fig 3).


Possible answers
  • Invasive ductal carcinoma NST with metastases
  • Phyllodes tumour
  • Lymphoma with breast involvement
  • Invasive mucinous breast carcinoma with metastases
  • Disseminated metastases of unknown primary
